Tools You’ll Need
  • Hole Saw
  • Screw driver
  • Stud Finder
Products You’ll Need
Before You Begin:
  1. The Smart Home Control Panel operates on Power Over Ethernet (POE) or 12VDC only. 24VDC will damage the panel.
  2. Run Power: Ensure that the necessary wiring is in place at the installation location for the wall-mounted tablet. For optimal reliability, a wired network connection with Power Over Ethernet (PoE) is recommended, particularly for new constructions with pre-installed network cables. The device can also be powered using a 12VDC power supply installed in the junction box closest to the screen. If you're unsure how to handle the wiring, you should consult a licensed electrician to handle this part of the installation.
  3. Casambi Setup: The panel uses Bluetooth to control your Casambi network. Make sure your Casambi system is fully set up. For detailed guidance on installing Casambi with your lighting, refer to the installation guide

  • For Vertical Installation, the junction box must be installed horizontally with the screw holes aligning left to right. Horizontal Installation, the junction box must be installed vertically with the screw holes aligning top to bottom.

4. Attaching the Screen Support Bracket:

Attach the screen support bracket to the junction box with the included screws.

5. Connect To Power

If using the recommended PoE, simply connect the network cable from the wall directly to the Ethernet port on the device. If using 12VDC, Connect the tablet to the 12VDC wire from the wall.

Once connected to power, insert the screen and tighten the lower screw.
