What is a wall washer light?

A wall washer light is a type of lighting fixture designed to evenly illuminate a wall, creating a smooth, uniform wash of light. These lights minimize shadows and highlight architectural details, artwork, or textures.

What's the difference between aspectLED's Micro, HP, and Slim Line series?

Micro and HP are low voltage only, while Slim Line is line voltage only. Micro is single color only, while HP and Slim Line have single color and RGB available. Micro doesn't need any special controllers. HP and Slim Line require DMX controllers if you get the RGB versions. Micro and HP only have 1 length, Slim Line comes in various lengths.

How many wall washers do I need for my space?

It depends on the size of your space. Ideally, you’ll want enough wall washers to nearly cover the full length of the wall for even illumination.

What is the beam angle of aspectLED wall washers?

Our Slim, Micro, and HP Series are available in 15°, 30°, or 45° beam angles.

Are wall washer fixtures dimmable?

Yes, all aspectLED wall washers are dimmable.

What is the power extension cable used for?

It provides additional length to extend power connections, allowing more flexibility in fixture placement.

Can wall wash lighting be installed outdoors?

Yes, our wall washers can be used in dry or damp outdoor locations. They should not be submerged in standing water, and connections must be properly protected. Generally, they should be installed facing up, but if mounted facing down, they must be in a sheltered area to prevent water exposure on the sides and back.

How are wall washers mounted?

They can be installed on either a vertical or horizontal axis. The most common setup is horizontal, facing upward near a wall, but vertical mounting is also an option.

Do aspectLED wall washers produce a lot of heat?

They produce some heat, but not an excessive amount. As long as they are installed in an open or ventilated space, they will operate efficiently even at full brightness.
