The Impact of LED Lighting at Trade Shows
Project Overview
Emser Tile reached out to us while planning their booth design for the Boutique Design New York (BDNY) Trade Show. They wanted to make their booth stand out by illuminating the grooves within their signature tiles on both the walls and the floors. The goal was a clean, modern look that drew attention to the intricate texture and design of their products.
To achieve this, we used W-Series Ultra Bright RGBW Waterproof Strip Lights, which fit perfectly into the tile grooves. Because consistent, vivid illumination was critical, we paired the strips with signal boosters and Casambi wireless controllers to manage multiple lighting zones. This setup provided precise, reliable control over every section of the display.
Working on a temporary trade show booth always comes with a few unique challenges. For this project, all wiring had to meet safety regulations while still allowing for a quick and easy setup and teardown. One of the main considerations was ensuring a stable Bluetooth wireless connection in a busy trade show environment.
With so many electronic systems operating nearby, signal reliability was key. Our aspectLED team carefully planned the layout, selected components designed for strong wireless performance, and fine-tuned the Bluetooth setup to ensure smooth, responsive control throughout the event.
