Frequently Asked Questions
What is a tile-in LED edge profile?
A tile-in LED profile is an aluminum channel designed to integrate seamlessly into tiled surfaces, such as walls or floors, to create elegant, recessed lighting effects.
How do you install a tile-in LED profile?
The profile is embedded into the tile adhesive during tiling, ensuring a clean and durable transition between the tile and adjacent surface.
What type of LED strips can be used with this channel?
This channel is compatible with all indoor-rated (IP20) aspectLED strip lights - or other strip light products 12mm wide or less. This includes tunable white, RGB, and COB options.
Can this tile-in LED profile be used in wet areas?
No. Since the channel is only compatible with IP20-rated products, it should not be installed in areas where it can be splashed or sprayed by water on a regular basis.
Can this tile-in LED profile be used in the floor?
Because the lenses and lights will likely be damaged by foot traffic and exposure to water or cleaning products, we do not recommend installing this product in the floor.
