For example, one RGBW fixture uses four channels. If you want additional fixtures to operate separately (different colors, brightness, or timing), each will need its own set of channels—called addresses.

We recommend using Cat5e or Cat6 network cable for reliable DMX signal transmission.

Not every system needs a terminator, but if you’re using more than one decoder, we recommend adding one to avoid signal issues. Install it on the output of the last decoder in your DMX chain.
